Louise Bousquet, ceramist<\/p>\n

After training in pottery making at the Institut des arts appliqu\u00e9s de Montr\u00e9al, Louise Bousquet set up fer first pottery studio in 1975.\u00a0 Her goal: to create something white.\u00a0 Louise has practiced her craft with passion for 30 years, innovating as she boldly pursues her quest for whiteness.\u00a0 \u00a0Her fine wheel-throwing and the harmony form and function found in her pieces soon attracted a clientele who has remained very loyal.<\/p>\n

Her determination and her quest for white took her all the way to Limoges in 1998. It was there that she studied the industrial process and materials involved in making fine porcelain and adopted them to her craft in her own way.\u00a0 It was also there that she met Guy Meynard, porcelain and mould maker, who has been instilling the spirit of porcelain in her ever since. Whit Guy and her spouse Fran\u00e7ois Godier, “fine technical thinker”, Louise founded Porcelaine Bousquet in 2002 according to the finest standards of porcelain-making.<\/p>\n

A collaboration with the artist\/comedian Cl\u00e9mence Desrochers produced a collection created from some of Cl\u00e9mence’s illustrations. Each piece is numbered.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
