Marcelle Charland<\/p>\n

D\u00e9 Cousu, the passion for sewing.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From the cradle, the gracious fairy godmother leaned over the little one\u2019s cradle, whispering in her ear: sew, let\u2019s sew, you sew, you unstitch, and you sew again.\u00a0 The mantra lastingly modulated the child\u2019s karma and became part of DNA forever.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When she was very young, she threaded the needle, scraps of fabric in hand, she dressed her doll.\u00a0 She graduated; her old Signer\u2019s pedal board turned at high speed\u2026. pure joy!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One thing led to another, the years passed and she created several ready-to-wear collections under the name Modes Marcelle Charland. Ah, the 80\u2019s, I must remember!!!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The years of teaching at the Coll\u00e8ge Lasalle, those devoted to the clothing industry in Quebec and abroad including in Vietnam and Laos, completed her wealth of knowledge, while enriching her toolbox.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When retirement came, the good fairy godmother manifested herself again with her famous mantra: sew, sew and sew.\u00a0 The DNA filaments stirred and she went back to her projects in order to deal with her karma once and for all.\u00a0 As the English say so well, sewing and creating \u201cit\u2019s my cup of tea\u201d dear.<\/p>\n
