SIMON JUNEAU – JUNÖ
Metal sculptures
Born in Quebec City, Simon inherited his manual dexterity from his father, a machinist. JUNÖ is self-taught. He does sculpture, shaping and welding using different materials such as metal, driftwood and any daily objects. Each new experimentation or technique represents a challenge often bold, which he meets with brilliance, every time!
Even with an atypical professional training, JUNÖ stands out by his originality and the unique aspects of each of his creations.
Artistic approach
JUNÖ creates because everything inspires him! He enjoys finding ways to remove elements from their context to make them stand out. It is, actually, what makes him different as an artist, which demonstrate his extraordinary creativity.
Each discovery and each new experiment and each finished project is a source of motivation and accomplishment.
