Carmen Thibaudeau (Tibodo)
Born in Sillery, Carmen worked as a nurse in Quebec City. Life led her to become a florist where she owned her own shop. The art of flower arrangements taught her the harmony of colors and proportions. Now established in the Stanstead Canton, she experiments with many forms of arts: watercolor, acrylic, metal sculpture, paverpol. Her work is realistic as well as abstract.
Artistic approach
I am a painter and a sculptor. My subjects varied as much as the mediums and the supports I used. The projects are chosen according to the subjects and the mediums such as canvas, paper, stone, metal, paverpol. I enjoy playing with the colors from soft to intense, opaque to translucid, warm to cold. I love learning and exploring new worlds.
