Biography
Amélie Pomerleau grew up in northern Ontario. Her contact with nature and the immensity of the north are reference points in her experience existence and cultural.
After a bachelor in science and a major in sculpture from Concordia University in Montreal, she completed a DEP in stone carving in Lac Megantic, QC. She went three times in Europe to train in drawing and in stone carving. She acquired, with her training, a huge experience of the plastic and conceptual art. Her work is exposed and recognized since 2013. She received twice a grant from AALQ for projects who underlines women condition and privacy.
