Lyne Lévesque

Lyne Lévesque, sculptural art

Originally form Magog, Lyne Levesque draws inspiration form the shore of the Lake Memphrémagog , where she gathers driftwood each spring.  Following a 20-year career in design, she fully embraced the fine crafts in 2021. As the first artist in Quebec to explore the sailboat as a sculptural form using driftwood, it has since become her signature.  Each piece, shaped intuitively, reflects an inner journey and symbolizes the pursuit of balance, freedom, and the vastness that resides within us all.

Rooted in a deep bond with nature and salvage materials, my art gives new life to driftwood, rusted metal and timeworn objects.  Each sculpture is a quiet conversation between raw elements and poetic vision. I aim to uncover beauty in imperfection, turning the  weathered into something meaningful – evoking journeys, memories, and the shared human experience with both simplicity and strength.
